What is this thing?
As I was disaambling parts of my engine, I noted that this threaded hole never had anything in it and it ran fine. I also noted the engine on the cover of the Engine Book didn't have it either. I found a drawing of what should go in there. What is it, what is it for?

It looks like a mounting stud for some purpose.
