Hi guys, I'm building a 2.7 with e-cams and webers. Here's the problem: cams have the extention on the back end for mfi gear and are too long for my housings,Can I cut the extentions off flush with back side of that bearing so they fit?Thanks,T.C.

Just punch out the back of the cam carrier, then install the MFI cam drive seal. No wierd modification needed, and the seal is only a few dollars.

You'll also need to either swap out your back plate tin for that side of the motor with the MFI version or cut a hole for the extension to go through. Better yet. Put a pulley on that cam and install MFI induction.
