weber jetting w/LM1
Below is a graph of different main and air corrector jet combinations used on a stock 2.4E motor, SSIs and sport muffler.
Factory jetting: mains 125, air correctors 180, emulsion tubes F26, idle 55s, 30mm venturines, SSI heat exchanger and sport muffler. What I found interesting was the air fuel ratio change thoughout the RPM band. The test was 3000-6000 at WOT. All tests were done with an LM-1. ![]() Last edited by gumba; 03-06-2005 at 03:57 PM.. |

The fact that they all peak and trough at the same rpms lead me to believe we are looking at the effects of intake and exhaust flow harmonics.
Its very interesting indeed and a reminder why EFI is so much better than carbs. |
