Re-bushing rocker arms?

Can the bonze(?) bushes on the rocker arms be pushed out and replaced with new?
I see new bushes are available and at 1/24 the price of a new complete rocker. A fair saving if easy to do?
Any tips?

Yes they can be replaced. Walt at Competition Engineering offers this as a service. I don't think Pelican sells the bushings.

This is my recomondation based on what I have done on many 911 engines. I never re-use rockers with any rebuild or high miles. If you have new cams, valve springs, ect. this could help find any weak part of the rocker and break. I have never had an engine come back with a broken new rocker. Everybody has their way of doing things and that is probably quite sufficent also.

Replacing the bushing should be the easy part. Correctly resurfacing the pad takes a unique set up. If the person
doing the work is not familiar with Porsche 911's I would
buy new rockers instead.
