Is that a timecert that has ripped out? The last picture looks like it had timecerts in it, but can't be sure.

Hi Tim,
 you give me a doubt, i'm not sure timecert are in the case, i didn't give attention...:) i don't think i noticed something during head stud removal  ?? |
Hello
I finally checked the threads this morning, the aren't any timecerts installed, by the way, may you tell me the diameter to drill to install them , and where to get them ? Philippe |
Installation of timeserts, or even better, case savers, is best done by a machine shop. They jig up the case so that the inserts are installed level and on-center, so your studs all align with the cylinders properly.
If you do decide to do it yourself, call any of the race or machine shops mentioned on this board for a source. |
Hello
a machine shop will do the job.... i was told the case savers were not recommended on mag cases ? advices welcomed best regards Philippe |
