2.7RS-part1
Hello
here are a few sots of my starting project :2.7RS rebuilding... this is the case... ![]() the workbench ![]() another view... ![]() the stock pistons are in a very good shape...(10000kms) ![]() cylinders too, (you can see the "cross") ![]() the only problem i had is with head stud removal...(your advice to fix it ?...) ![]() the others are nice... ![]() all comments are welcomed, especially for cleaning the mag case... Is that a timecert that has ripped out? The last picture looks like it had timecerts in it, but can't be sure.

I finally checked the threads this morning, the aren't any timecerts installed, by the way, may you tell me the diameter to drill to install them , and where to get them ? Philippe |

Installation of timeserts, or even better, case savers, is best done by a machine shop. They jig up the case so that the inserts are installed level and on-center, so your studs all align with the cylinders properly.
If you do decide to do it yourself, call any of the race or machine shops mentioned on this board for a source.
