Oil leak

I hope this question makes sence. I have a leaky cam "O" ring. Would it leak more oil if the car sat for a couple days than if it was driven daily? Would the 911 lose more oil sitting than driving?

At least if you drive it the drips will land someplace besides your garage.
That O-ring keeps pressurized oil from leaking out, I would think that it wouldn't leak at all unless the motor was running.
