Resealing Heads

Has anyone had a reseal job done lately on an early 90's engine? I'm looking at a 91 that may have leaking a leaking head/cylinder joint, I'm curious about how much time ( flat rate?) that usually takes to fix both sides. Other than a oil leak are there any other signs of this problem...\Thanks for your help, I'd hate to buy a head ache

25 or 30 hours should do it.

If this engine has never been apart, the reason for the leak is an improperly designed head and the repair for it is to machine the head flat and install an update set of heads.
The was offered as a recall 10 or 12 years ago and the factory did it for free. Some of those cars fell through the crack and never got updated.
