Priming Oil System

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and actually just got my 1983 euro slantnose cab back from the body shop after 5 years. It's a long story.... Away the car hasn't been run in that long period of time & I want your advise on how to prime the oil system. Please give your thoughts on what I should do before startup.
Thanks
Dante

Disconnect the ignition, fill it fill of oil and turn the engine over using the starter until you get 2.5 to 3 bar of oil pressure on the gauge.

Then reconnect the ignition and fire it up.
