points self tapped into distributor - help
just got 1968 2.0s back from mechanic and he has used a self tapping screw to secure the points to the distributor, whilst this works, I can't imagine is a good long term solution.
what are people's thoughts, i'm assuming that i can buy replacement parts to fix this, and may need a new distributor A-602-021-50 - $$$, no longer available... is the AMD option a solution? many thanks Rich |
