Checking Bore Diameters
Any helpful hints or tricks to checking cylinder bore diameters. I have some telescopic bore guages.
The issue is that unless you center the shaft and hold it steady you do not get an accurate reading. I have tried a few time and find that it is really hard to set them 100% at the largest part of the bore. Any help would be much appreciated........this is only the start. Lots more to do!
