Engine mount stud needed

I need a stud for shorter engine (fan end).

What are the spec on it? It seems to be a 10x? Also where is a good place to get them. Should the local FLAPS have them?

Cheers

Your description is a little vague. You might be able to find the stud you want at metric hardware place but you may be able to get something from Pelican. Try looking it up here:

911 Engine Catalog

Note: The stud length in the catalog (and Porsche's own parts catalog) is the amount of stud exposed when installed not the overall length. If you buy the studs from someplace else the length with be the overall length.

Good tip Chris, I didn't know about the length tid bit. I was down at my local parts place and we were having a discussion about exhuast studs for a late SC and he kept saying they are XX length and XX was what I measured to be sticking out......... was not making sense. They had what were suppossed to be the right ones and when I measured them, XX was the overall length.... Funny part is, they didn't know either and had a whole bunch of studs that were too short!
