Cool Engine Done...Ready to install!!!!!!

Well it's been 4,almost 5 months since pulling my 3.2 for a clutch, top end rebuild.Turned into a full rebuild in short order after coming down with the dreaded "while I'm in there" syndrome!
But after 150K+ miles,it was the least I could do!So engine is ready to go with a few extras thrown in to spiff up the looks.
While cleaning up the trans & replacing the seals I found that the release fork was cracked So much for installing this weekend. This may have also had something to do with what I thought was the clutch going out.Disk was almost to the rivets, but not quite.Must have been the fork not pulling the throw out bearing evenly.

Oh well,such is life

Here's a few pics for all you pic hounds out there!

While I'm here, any thoughts on break in oil & proper run in of cams(reground) with original rockers.I've read the various info out there & seems to be some conflicting info.

Thanks for thoughts & replies!

Chris

Nice job on the cosmetics. Be glad you noticed the fork. They are known to crack and then they just let go, ask me how I know!

Hope it runs as good as it looks when you get it back in!!

Cheers,

Catca,
Thanks for the thought.I know some will poo-poo the cosmetic aspect but it is MY CAR!I personnaly like what a prettied up engine compartment looks like when you pop the hood. Not overboard, but just clean up the wiring & stuff.I'll post some more when it's in.
I just wish I would have found the cracked fork before Thursday.I could have my baby on the road again!!!!
