bolt on intercooler for a 3.2 carrera inlet?

is there any pre fabbed intercoolers that are nice and big that would be more or less a bolt on to a 3.2 carrera inlet? im building a 3.3t engine with efi and so im running with the 3.2 inlet.

I just ordered an intercooler for a Carerra 3.2 intake manifold for my 930 build project from Albert at goingsuperfast.com. Drop him some email describing what you are trying to do and I suspect he'll be able to help.
His email is:
Albert@goingsuperfast.com

Have you decided on which fuel injectors and which engine control unit you'll use?

Don't know of any catches on the IC. Albert said he'd ship today so I'll let you know when I see it. I'm building a 930 engine that I bought in pieces from sprbxr. He had done a great job of accumulating great parts (twin-plugged, ported/polished heads that are works of art) so I'm pretty excited. I've done a lot of electronics work as well as EFI tuning in the past so I'm looking at the megasquirt package. Lots of injector options: 993TT, Boxster S, 951, Siemans 55#, etc.
Take a look at http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsMODS.asp
For driving the twin plugs, I'm looking at 2 EDIS-6 control modules and ignition coils. I'll post more as the details get worked out.

Good luck with your project!
Mike

Hi Mike,

I'm doing similar EFI conversion on mine and am also considering EDIS for ignition. Would be VERY interested in understanding how you'd set it up - everything from where do you get the necessary crank pulley? to how much timing do you set.

Please keep us posted.

Thanks.

yea here as well. Looking into megaquirting my 3.6T.... going to keep it simple first and use billet injector blocks to keep the current setup - should be a peice of cake. ive already wired in my zeritronix for the wideband, egt, boost etc...

However my iginition contoller has gone bust and its $2000 from porsche! it controls timing from boost levels, and temps - pretty good but I have seen EDIS etc... hoever know little about this what you need and if MS can contol it properly....

any links or knowlege would be great!
