73e or 73 1/2 e

I am a new owner of a 73 e targa basket case. How do I tell if it is a 73 or 73 1/2. anyone got numbers. Who has a site with serial numbers. Mark

Help me out -- what's the significance of a 73 1/2 E? I know that the T's changed from MFI to CIS mid-year, but I'm not aware of any specific changes in the E's or S's.

Did I miss something?
