first valve adjustment after rebuild

I plan to do my first valve adjustment next week during my break, my car will have ~1100 miles on rebuild of 964. Do I need to change any gaskets? I plan to re-torque the head studs. Anything else? thanks

I just got my 3.3 C2 Turbo back from Henry at Supertec. I have about 350 miles on it and have to do the same valve adjustment in about 700. Let me know how it goes and if you find anything unusual that I should look out for. Good Luck.

BTW: Henry is the man! Car runs like a dream. Check out the motor assembly pics@

Here's mine.

I did not CAD plate my thru bolts as CAD plating makes material brittle, but it sure looks nice. I did reCAD plate all previously CAD plated items.

Adjusting valves will be quite a bit of work as you need to remove a lot to get to them.

I suspect Henry did not take over a year and the cost not much more than $9k. I did not replace P&Cs.

You did it yourself? Nice job looks very clean. I don't think I will undertake the valve adjustment myself I have a good shop locally. Let me know details of your efforts so I know what to tell my guy about while I stand there looking over his shoulder and bugging him!! You have any pictures of the whole car? How about rebuild pics?

After I rebuilt mine, I adjusted the valves at 500 miles.

Did not re-torque the head stud. I don't know how you would do this on a 964 since you don't know what to torque it to. All I did was just to make sure that none are loose.
