Which oil line does the little ball go into?
engine is 82 930. ...thought i remembered where this fell out of, but now I'm doubting myself.

On a 930, it's the oil line that supplies the turbo...it's the connection near the crank case breather on the back of the engine (between yet behind numbers 3 and 6)...one of the oil pressure switches threads into it.
