Early Forged Rocker Arms?
Hi - It looks like the early engine I'm buying has the early forged rocker arms that are adjustable. I know that Porsche changed the rockers to a cast variant as a designed weak point in late 60's
That said - Who uses the forged arms? Vintage racing or other high rev applications? Regards, Andrew M

We use the forged early rockers in almost every racing engine.
The determining factor is driver experience. Early forged rockers are lighter and offer better rocker ratio. 1.5 to like the racing non adjustable rockers. Cast rockers are 1.4 to 1. If cam performance is important to you forged rockers are the kind.

Thanks Henry - Once again a wealth of knowledge.
P.S. That price on the distributor is more than reasonable - I'll get my specs together and have you set one up for me. AM
