930 Cylinder air guide help

My '78 3.3 cyl. air guides are different than a replacement set I bought(used) as I had one rusted out and no cover plates? In comparing; the ones that were on the engine are all "closed" at the base and the center ones are cut different? Does some have a picture of what I should have? Should I install cover plates. These are stock (not fully finned) cylinders.
TIA
KM

HI Ken the 3.3 turbo has cylinder tin work diffrent to the sc, and no cover plate over the top of the cyliner's, you will require tin work from a 3.3 only, look on the pet parts manual and check part No's.

Thanks 78P930, I know about the mod.. what I'm confused about is that the guides that were on my engine are different than the picture i.e. closed on the ends on the bottom and staggared cut on the bottom and there was no top plate. I bought a set of used that look like the picture I thought they were all the same until my mechanic asked if the set I bought was correct for the turbo eng.? So now I'm trying to find out what I should have?

Thanks Mike... appreciate the info... I figured they are different... But because of other things I found on the engine they too could have been wrong! Didn't catch that the parts manual shows a 01 revision to the part number for '78-'89 T and doesn't list a cover plate for '78 tubo. But does for the '76-77? Well all except 1 center can be refinished maybe some one has one?
thanks again
