Billet Injector Blocks For Turbo

Hi all.
Can anyone recommend where I can buy new or used a set of aluminum intake injector blocks for a 930 turbo? I need 38MM but I can have them machined out if they are smaller then 38MM. I also need all of the special gaskets that cut down on heat conduction. I am located in Northern CA. However, I am open to where ever I can get them.

Are you wanting replacement Al blocks or EFI conversion blocks?

Lukesportsman these are not for an EFI. These are a replacement for the plastic or ceramic injector blocks that Porsches uses with the 930 tubo CIS system up to 1989. We are trying to decide if we can drill out new stock ceramic blocks to 38mm with out cracking them. It looks like that if we can drill them out the block will have very thin sides around the 38mm hole? I have had people tell me to use the aluminium blocks and some tell me to drill out a new set of stock injector blocks.

Many say the stock blocks have less heat transfer and the aluminum are just very expensive and still have a higher heat transfer with the special gaskets that come with them?

What do you guys think?

plastic blocks crack even with their stock 33mm hole.

There is little doubt that Al blocks will transfer more heat. They WILL though never crack and age during our lives. Good gaskets can help this substantially or possibly some phenolic spacers could be fab'd up for isolation. Treated wood has been used in other applications to provide thermal protection. Few things are better thermal insulators.

I would not buy anything from Powerhaus......you should contact Mark Hargett he makes these blocks for efi conversions and might have what you need.

My stock injector blocks are cracked too!!! I'm planning to keep CIS. I don't really want to spend a fortune on these things, where can I find them? I didn't see replacements on Pelican.

Check with www.modeinc.com . They were supposed to make a batch of these in either Jan or Feb. They are the only folks I found that would even act like they would make some.

Pat Williams in Memephis will not make them by themselves. He makes blocks with integrated fuel rails for EFI conversions.

I have seen those photos. I have actually called and talked to both Pat Williams and also Mr. Hargett (within the last 60 days). Both guys told me they no longer make and will not make just the injection blocks themselves. If this has changed, I would appreciate someone emailing me or posting here that these are actually currently now available. I too would like to buy some. Maybe, If enough people call them and express and interest in these, someone will actually make them. This was the case with Mode, Inc. I called them and they said they would"make a batch" if there were enough orders.

I'm getting sort of desperate here. Soon I'll have all my parts back from Performance Developments and I'll have the month of February to assemble the engine. I'm keeping CIS. Nearly all of my manifold blocks are cracked. I needs something...bad! I haven't even been able to find the OEM replacements. I'd hate to have to sink like $600 bucks on these billet things! I have other parts to buy!
