Chain housing pins
One of the chain ramp pins came out during cleaning. JB weld it in and on the back? Is that sufficient?
Thanks, Brian |

I'm not sure (free bump). I would hate for that thing to come out when the engine is operational. One of the engine building experts should chime in on this.

This pin is out completely. I am wondering if I need to do anything additional to secure it.
Thanks, Brian |

The ramp pin on my 3.0L fell out during a DE back in October. What a mess. I thought the car was on fire. I found the pin in the oil strainer. Fortunately it was the pin that just supports the ramp. I cleaned all surfaces with alcohol and epoxied it using JB Weld. So far it is holding fine.
