Crank pulley & sensor for EFI

I'm looking into getting a crank pulley with the 60-2 wheel + sensor & mount.

Just wonder if anyone had tried the kit from www.GoingSuperFast.com ? They look similar but quite a bit cheaper than the one from Clewett...

Or, can anyone point me to where to get them?

thanks.

I've got the pulley and sensor kit from Albert at goingsuperfast. I'm just a little more than half way on the build so no data yet on how well it works. Here's a pic from a few days ago.

Thanks for the response. Your engine looks FABULOUS! And the crank pulley looks to fit well.

Any comments on the build and fit quality of the pieces so far? Does the sensor mount mount solid to the base and does it look to need adjustment?

thanks...

www.clewett.com - you'll have NO ISSUES!

My EFI conversion uses Alberts pulley, distributer plug and sensor mount, has been working fine for over a year now.

Alright, a really stupid question....why can't you just take the stock pulley and machine/file the notches in it and save some cost?

Is there not enough separation or ??

Dennis,
NOt a stupid question at all :) I have 2 reaons for not doing that:
a) I'm not confident of my own machining skill & the spacing of the tooth should be pretty precise,
b) If you machine the back side of the pulley with tooth and put a belt on it. I'm not sure if the sensor is sensitive enough and not sure if I would compromise the pulley integrity or not.

Maybe the aluminum pulley won't work? Maybe the teeth have to be ferrous?

I have a 930 crank pulley from clewett available.

I might consider selling the trigger wheel, dist hole plug and sensor mount if the price is right. You could also pic these up from Clewett.

I am trying to do a flywheel triggered setup on my 993 motor, may not need theses peices.
