machine shop referral

Could someone give me a referral for a machine shop in, or south of the Bay area. We don't have a capable shop here in Hawaii, and I will be traveling to the San Fransisco Bay area in a couple of weeks. Thank you!

Thank you John! By the way. Could you point me in the direction of what might have caused the cam problem? If it is repaired, will I also need to re-hab or replace the rockers? Thank you!
Jon

Looks like the either the lobe or the rocker arm wasnt flat.
Its a good idea to use new or rebuilt rocker arms any time
a new or repaired cam is installed.

Thanks John. Well, now that it is all dissassembled, I wish the cam was the worst news, but it's not . Pistons and cylinders are beyond limits. I'm going to have a beer and contemplate the meaning of life. . ....

Post a wanted ad in the classified section. Im sure someone has some good used 2.0 pistons and barrels.

Ted is defineitely the man! I would trust him till the cows come home. ;)
If you need some spare rockers...I have some.

BTW, Be prepeared to get in the conga line to get your stuff done. If you want the best....get in line!

I spoke with Ted earlier today. Very nice! I explained that I would be traveling from Hawaii. His turn-around time was reasonable.
As far as p&c's, now I'm contemplating the 2.2, or 2.4 option, but with every thought I hear that nagging sound...ca-chig. Why replace cams with stock ones?, since I need p&c's, why not go bigger?, and on and on.....but in the end, it is after all, a 66'. and I think that I should just do the very best with the 2.0--- but it's soooo tempting. Aloha, Jon
