What diameter and thread pitch for oil pressure port?
Case is a 1971 magnesium 2.2.
What is the diameter and pitch of the port where the oil pressure sender threads into the case? I know the sender is 1/8 NPT-27, but I believe there is an adapter between it and the case, I could be wrong. On my engine, the pressure sender is located on top of the engine next to the crankcase breather. (It's either the sender or the idiot light switch, but that's the location I need the measurement for.) Thanks in advance if anyone happens to have a 2.2 case handy.

The oil pressure switch (idiot light) on a Porsche 911 engine is 10 x 1.0 mm not 1/8 pipe.
The adapter thread is 18 x 1.5.mm

Thanks Henry, for the rapid response.
As you have probably guessed I am going to be doing some testing with an Accusump plumbed into the pressure port. Hence I needed the diameter of the feed into the main oil gallery.

Kool, you going to use the electric valve/switch to prime on start ups too?

No, too expensive and complicated for me. I'm just going to use a ball valve, probably with the remote cable. You pull the cable, start the car. Push the cable, turn the car off. Given that this car hibernates for about 359 days per year, the pre-oiling feature can't hurt, either.
Baffling the oil tank is certainly an option, but I wanted to try this first. ps Craig my Citabria 7KCAB is for sale, PM me if you know anyone interested.
