Like I'm always telling people: "It's not so much experience as it is accumulated remorse."
This little "lesson" will stick with you a long time. ![]() I cover holes with shop rags and if practical, I tip the motor so if I drop something it will fall away/out of the motor. Working in the left side chain box is good example of where tilting the motor can avoid problems. -Chris

I was religious witht he seran wrap when doing the pistons. Good thing too because those clips often landed there, and the JE clips are especially difficult. We made a makeshift tool for the JE clips that worked relatively well if anyone is interested.

I dropped a wrist pin down the port hole on #6 with engine tipped 4/5/6 up and the pin ended up on the left chain gaurd housing cover ( saw it as soon as i pulled it off.... Damn, 5 minutes seemed like i lost a family member doto a kidnapping) eeeeeeeewwwwwwww mE a LuCkY Man

I'll take a wild guess as to what a hampton is! Anyway, no I think it's used surgically, for endoscopy, arthroscopy, and other non-invasive surgury. The "hampton" usually gets a colonoscope, which is many times larger in diameter than that fiber!

Brian, hampton is short for hampton wick which is a lovely place in north west london. its also cockney rhyming slang for.....dick!
