nuts and bolts question

I'd like to replace the nuts on my re-build. (2.0) The perimeter nuts I took off were not nylock. Is it worth replacing them with this style? And for that matter, all the external fasteners. Timing covers, etc. Is zinc coated the way to go? Thank you!

Pelican sells a nice hardware set that is reasonably priced and includes all the required nuts, washers and bolts.

Thanks. I looked at that, but a bit more extensive than what I'm after.
