Engine Teardown Begins

Part of my project is to replace my SC cams with DC20 cams. My '79 has the large 46 mm nut, the replacement cams (from reground 964) have the 19mm bolt config.

Rather than purchasing 2 sets of tools to replace and install, I'd just like to get the tools for my new setup. However, whats the best way to remove the 46 mm nut considering I won't be using it again. I have a 46 mm socket, can I impact wrench it off (I will replace the chains) or dremel it off?

Help greatly appreciated...
