Engine Installing Directions ??

I've just done my first engine drop and things went without a hitch thanks to all the tech articles I found on-line - but does anybody have one for re-installing the motor? I know to do everything in reverse, but how about regreasing the CV joints and reconnecting the tranny, etc? Anybody have a list of items to check for/complete before installing a removed motor?

If nothing else - make double-sure you installed the ring gear and engaged the clutch fork

Amen, Dave.

You should put some fresh axle grease in the CVs where they mate to the tranny, be careful when handling the CVs so that they don't decide to "disassemble" themselves on your garage floor, consider refreshing the trans fluid while the trans is out of the car (way easier this way), check the placement of wires, cables, etc. before raising the engine up into the car, take the time to line up the engine (left to right) so that the mounts will line up, consider using a second jack under the trans, and just take it slow.
