964 Cams/valve adjustment

I'm pretty sure the valve clearance with 964 cams is .004 same as stock; correct? Can someone quickly confirm this. Also, is the rocker/cam clearance between .0025 and .003 also same as stock?

Thanks.

Jim,
The rocker/cam clearance is .00285" when the rocker/valve clearance is .004".
Simple actually, the rocker ratio is 1.4 to 1. Divide .004" by 1.4 equals .002857143", rounded off to .00285".
Check the rocker/cam clearance with a .003" shim. If the shim slips in between, the gap is too big, over .004" at the rocker/valve.
Then check with a .0025", it should slip in between the rocker/cam.
If it does fine, if it doesn't the gap at the rocker/valve is less than .0035".
So the .003" is the over gauge, the .0025" is the under gauge.
Works fine, don't need some special shim holding tool.

DRV2FST,
Since the 965 turbo is based upon the 964 engine, I would expect the rockers are the same.
From what I understand, the 993 engine, with the hydraulic rockers was the change over.
My best advice,
