911 sc rod bearing width

getting ready to rebuild my 3.0 sc motor. ordered rod bearings from pelican and they are only 17.5mm wide. rod width is 22mm. should the bearings be as wide as the rod itself? research show number to be 930-103-148-00. the glycol sent has 71-3426/6
can't believe these are right.

Rod bearings aren't going to be same overall width as the rod. Remember that the Porsche rods have thrust/side clearance controlled by the precisely machined sides of the rods.
