How do I get the fan off the alt shaft?

I'm wanting to upgrade to this 11blade fan. It's the same diameter as the 5blade so I was hoping to just swap fans.
I have the whole 11blade/alt/housing assembly.
Should I keep it together and replace it as a whole unit?
or if not can someone tell me how to separate the fan from the alternator shaft?

this is in the tech articles on home page you should have no problems following these instructions i used it myself to dissasemble mine today.
