What is the difference in a 935 head and a 3.2 head for a 935 clone? I know the housing is different.

The differences are minor;
Material(Rolls Royce spec) enhanced heat dissapation Fully finned around spark plug areas Special finned exhaust guide No valve stem seal on said special guide oil port that bisects exhaust guide to enhance lubrication and cooling. twin plugged The amount of aluminum used was more than the stock heads of that era. But I believe that the 3.2 has about the same amount of mass. All of these things were to try and control heat at full boost for extended periods of time. I have heard that all of this was done specifically for the Mulsanne straight. |
935 heads flow quite well, too............:) :)

We had a 911SC/RS here for a few months and those heads looked very close to 935 ones. I did not see the special oiling provisions to the exhaust valveguide that the 935 motor have.
The SC/RS has more CR than the 935's with a different piston design,...:) |

Wim: Are those Ti valves? What size are they?
Forum: What are 935 heads flow numbers? Chamber CC? Port sizes? I'm surprised there is no flame ring groove. |
