Would not bad cams effect the compression also if they throw the cam timing off?

Hey James

you should go for that super C2 profile that camgrinder did for my rebuild as in the link in your opening post. It really works a treat and there no clearance problems with the pistons.

My engine builder used the old rockers and shafts (90k) no problems, new spring caps were required though as they has started to crack.

The engine does need very careful setting up with fuel and ignition on a rolling road to get the best from the combo, mine started at 220bhp and after some adjustments ended at 235ghp so worth the dyno time for sure. Also the idle needs some attention to get stable.

good luck
