how to install all the oil sensors
A simple question for the ones who know...when installing all of the oil sensons (screw into case type i.e. oil pressure can by ser #, oil thermo by breather hose, oil temp sensors...) do you need to use any type of "sealant" on the threads to help minimize or prevent them from leaking oil??
i.e. use teflon tape or sealing/crush washers or mild locktite...?? Is this all in the workshop manuals of which takes 30 minutes to find the correct section... In replacing all of these on the refurb I am doing on a 3.0 L and I dont want to be creating any additional places of oil leaking if possible. Thanks! Bob

HI Bob in the gasket set you should have all the ally' washers to fit the senders and adapters on the engine , the only washer that may be missing is the oil light switch/sender(red top) at the back of the crankcase near the flywheel you may have to find a copper washer for that one, no sealer, lock-tight or thread tape should be necessary with new washers.
