Piston/Valve clearance

In Doing the check for the clearance, I found that there is only 1.3mm clearance between intake valve and piston during the check listed in wayne's book. His book recommends 1.5mm ( or 1.5 turns of the valve adjuster). The exhaust valve has the min of 2mm clearance. Is this something to worry about? The engine is a bone stock rebuild with the same thickness cyl base gaskets as original and no machining. 1983 SC 3.0 .
Also should there be any movement in the OEM spring type chain tensioners? Before they were removed there was none, and now after slowly compressing them and reinstalling, there is about 1/8 " of movement.
Thanks everyone!!!

Also the cams were timed to .062" as per the Bentley book

Hi there,

I was just wondering the same, I used the solder approach to check my clearances on my 3.2L Euro and I had an average of 1.59 mm clearance. I look forward to people helping out here.

Regards,

Alex
