What will this combo make in my 2.0?
If I use a 2.4 crank along with 2.7 pistons and cylinders in my 2.0 what will that net me? Any maching involved or does it all pretty much bolt together? The block is a 67 2.0.

machining involved in the spigots.
it makes yours a 2.7 sell me your 67 block and buy a 2.7 block instead. that way you avoid the machining

So if I keep my crank and install 2.7 cylinders I make the short stroke 2.5 correct? Adding 2.2 or 2.4 heads (standard T) will give me bigger valves and more compression?
It can't cost more than a couple hundred dollars to have the spigots on the cylinders machined as long as there is nothing involved to machine on the block. Can somebody fill me in on the details of what parts I should start to gather. Too bad because my 2.0 bored out to 2.2 runs like a top! |

FYI, you could buy a complete 2.7 core for the amount that case will sell for. Aluminum cases are pretty desirable by the vintage crowd.
