90mm JE's at 9.8:1; S-cams; 40mm webbers.....good start. Now you need to do a few things. Your leaking 2.7 case should be sent to a GOOD mech. shop that knows PORSCHE engines, checked out and rebuilt as necessary. They will know the weak spots of the 2.7 case. If you have 90mm nikies thats good. Have them checked out, and if they are in good shape and in spec. then you can give that information to JE and order pistons. But wait....How are the rest of your engine parts? Crank, rods, oil pump, intermediate shaft, etc; etc. I could go on and on...... Get yourself the book by are host, Wayne Dempsey called "How To Rebuild & Modify Porsche 911 Engines" It's all there. Everything you will need to know. Read it and then ask your questions here and help will be on it's way. Sounds like a fun engine your planning.
