In Waynes book he uses a large C-Clamp style. A 10" version is $35 and an 8" $25. Which size to use? Still, there are different styles that are less expensive and look like gear pullers. Which is the least expensive and still effective for an enthusiast? Thanks, Michael

The C-clamp style. I think the gear-puller type are for SBC type valves. I just ordered a KD tools C-clamp style, for off-the-engine work this is fine.
