				pressure fed cam oil lines...

84 911 track car...I've got an oil leak, not bad but don't want dropping on the track, that the highest place i can trace it to is where the left pressure fed cam oil lines joins with the cam housing. My thoughts were to replace the intermediate piece, 3 sealing rings, banjo bolt, the oil hose itself, union nut and cutting ring. Figured this was a fairly inexpensive gamble on the leak -Do I need to replace the pipe down to chain housing? (currently no problems) -Do i need the new cutting ring and union nut? (currently no problems) -PET shows 2 sealing rings on the intermidate piece coming out of the cam housing--there currently is 1 on each side of banjo and 1 btwn the intermediate piece and cam housing. -would it be wise to do the entire "system" w/o any other "issues" thanks | ||
