Well I'm going to reply to my own post with the answer I'm looking for and hope that the info will one day help someone else answer the same question...

So here's the scoop!

I called threebond and according to them the 1104 has been discontinued because it has lead in it. It has been replaced with 1194 which the same product just a lot safer. So 1194 is a direct replacement to 1104.

Hope this info helps as i'm sure others are going to be running into the same situation in the near future as the old stock of 1104 runs out.

Cheers!!

I realize I am bringing this thread back from the dead but I am only doing it to help future people. according to this post 1104 was discontinued. this post was made in 2007 . That means that any 3bond 1104 you get will be 9 years old.although my tube was bad i have to believe it was re introduced.

Hope this helps.
