Engine Yoke - What is Good?

I'm looking around and I have found several options for engine yokes, because I obviously want to mount my engine properly.
One is this custom made yoke which you can buy from an ebay store for about usd $200. It looks like it has to be welded onto the stand, which I am hesitant to do, as well, I wouldn't want to trust my engine to this, unless someone else instantly knows of this make...
Another is the OEM Porsche yoke, which is prohibitavely expensive almost, so it is only a last resort.
The most intriguing one I have found so far, is the yoke made by mainlycustom by design. It's merely a ring which affixes onto a universal stand to imitate the OEM yoke. Does anyone have any comments on that one?

Also, does anyone have any general advice or recommendations for me, or other alternatives?

Thanks again in advance!!

Ian

I used the universal ring for my entire rebuild, worked like a champ.

Only problem is that you can't clear the heat exchanger pipe on the end of the heat exchanger.

By universal mount, do you mean the one from mainly custom or another one?

I've got the mainly mount with a harbor freight stand. Works fine. The only issue I have had is trouble with the XZN tool fitting on the fly wheel bolts. I had to use a box wrench over the tool I got. If you bought the whole mount it provides more room to get a socket wrench in there.

Only other issue was some slight interference with my stock SC exhaust parts, but nothing to worry about really.

If you do not have any other special tools you might consider the too super kit. I did and then I found a variety of used tools over the span of a year... Depends on your budget.

Best regards,

Michael

I don't know the manufacture, I used the this one:

Purchased from our gracious host, Pelican. In fact to avoid getting the wrong this it's probably best to just buy it here.

Do a search; this thread has been covered ad nauseum. There are pros and cons to using a universal. All cons on a mag case.

i just used the ring that adapts to the universal mount. i was unable to rotate the engine with the heat exchangers in place. i borrowed the ring from a friend, so i wasn't out the money, but if i had purchased it, i would be returning it to upgrade to the fully welded piece:
