Less brakes, more gas!

I have read Gunter's post on the subject of rebuilding and I'm doing a SC converted to a twin plug distributor. I've stripped it down to the shaft and the small bits. I found that the two plastic red bits (circled in red) are cracked. I also have found that the shims are pretty worn and would like to replace those. Lastly, that little felt part in the center of the shaft that is supposed to be oiled went flying somewhere in the garage... we all know how likely I'll be able to find it again...
So... where can I order parts for these things as I'll be doing my own SC distributor after I am done with this one... hrmnnn... where did the pic upload function go??? -michael

Since Pelican doesn't sell them, your only recourse is to order BOTH 912 kits from a well-known Porsche dealer located in Ohio formerly owned by the PCA national technial chairman.

Really??? There is NO place to order these parts?? I mean, they have to be common to almost ALL BOSCH distributors, right? Sounds like a niche market that needs satisfying...
Oh, and here is the pic ![]() ![]() Best regards, Michael
