HPV ignition coil source

Good day,

I am using HPV1 ignition in my twin-plug application, and I suspect one of the coils has gone bad. I understand HPV uses a standard GM coil on its packs and I would like to know if anyone can confirm that and tell which application it is from. In other words, what do I have to ask the local FLAPS to get the right coil ? "1988 Chevy Suburban ignition coil" , for example ?

TIA

I think GM is right, but I never took it any further in my research either. Let us know if you find out, otherwise I guess you're calling electromotive...

I went to the store and asked for a coil from a 1997 cavalier. What I got did fit. I understand those GM parts are all the same (i.e. if it looks the same, it is the same). Car runs.

Cheers
