The heads were sent to the machining shop..
They were reaconditioned succesfully as well as valves... They found 7 bad Exhaust studs... Broken Spring.. Good and never worked Heads... Some silicon at the shafts.. Rockers okay... Turbo Valve Covers (some one knew what was doing before me) New valve guides built at the same machining shop (outstanding, they are famous for the good work on guides) Also used RSR rocker shaft seals... Only one Valve worn out... Overall it looks great... Decided to go for the silicon Head Gaskets.. Now Shaking for the Cam Timing...hope can do it Thoughts? Will need help on this, any one?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by MKEDF; 10-13-2007 at 04:27 PM.. Reason: Update |

go careful on cam timing...I followed the Wayne book... then fired it right up and one cam was 180 out... (it must have been getting late, I had the cam pins in and out so many times) so check the next day by following what the valves do compared to the firing order.. I think should work Also you may see if someone has a TDC tool of some sort, might as well know for sure where that is.
