Persisten Oil Smoke STILL !! ARGGHH

I recently rebuilt the top end of my 2.4 and installed some upgraded cams.. Ive run the car for about an hour and dont see ANY oil leaks but am seeing Oil Smoke coming out from the Fan shroud through the Alt..

Anyone See this? Possibly know what it could be?

As a Rundown

Crankcase Breather is Not leaking
Cam towers arent leaking
Oil returns are Not leaking
No Covers are Leaking.

Only think I can possibly speculate is that there was some oil left on one of the manifolds that was not replaced and it is causing it.. Possibly.. ? ?

Or the Case halves are getting some oil bypass and burning?

Very Frustrating at this point.. Thinking of Selling

It wouldnt be to hard to pull the fan/house/alt and take a look inside. if it is oil on the exchangers there would be smoke coming out the bottom when the engine is on. If this is the case, just take it for a long drive on the highway to burn it off. Just make sure that is the problem before any long drives though.

If you remove two heater tube plates one on each side of the Alt/fan you can get a good look at the top of the motor. Are you sure it is not dripping onto the muffler and rising up making it look like it's coming from the fan area.

I'm guessing the smoke comes up after you shut the engine off?

I was just kidding about the selling,, take a deep breath, everything will be fine.

Are there any funny out of the ordinary smells or just that wonderful smell of the initial burnoff after the first crank. That smell is right up there with the new car smell imho.

OK.. Update! Smoke has Subsided.. had to have been all sorts of chemicals left on top of the motor! WHAT A RELIEF! .. I would have thought it would have burned off sooner but apparently now...

The only thing I am seeing at this point is a little bit of "oil gloss" on the cam towers. No Droplets. All in All it is LOOKING GREAT! I just needa set my carbs a bit better.
