3.0 to 3.4 with CIS ?

I have a 3.0 that needs a rebuild. 192,000 miles. Daily driver. Drive like Andretti. I am thinking about 101 mm big bore JE pistons, as well as port & polish intake. Maybe 993 head studs?

Any feed back so far?

Can I use the stock CIS? Will it be able to handle the larger displacement?

I would love to hear some feedback, as this is the first time that I have thought about doing anything other that stock to my 911.

Robert,

Recommend searching for post by RDane (search username). He built a 3.4 and kept CIS, I think he determined it was a limiting factor for power later on.

Good luck, Gordo
