Wayne's New Book

Hi,
Wayne's rebuild book is so good, I think he needs to add a new chapter to his rebuild book or come out with another Book. We need a 915/930/G50 Transmission rebuild book with all the secrets and mods included.

Whadya Think!

Les

this has been mt #1 wish ever since the rebuild book came out...I was told the bwm was next... already out, and then probably a boxster ~ cayman book and after that probably a break.
I believe that the latest book, boxster/cayman is in review stage now.

I know Grady was thiking of gathering all the info and possibly doing a trans book

Thats all I know to date... I am waiting patiently
Bob

Here is an outline on page 5 of Wayne’s thread

101 MORE Projects for your Porsche 911...

I’m actively working on a chapter on the 901. It will start with the 822 (the race prototype for the 901), then 904 & 906, the various 901s and 911s and the 914s.

Wayne has a growing stash of transmissions and I’m pushing twenty now. The goal is to document all the subtle ‘improvements’ during the years. Some (simplifications) didn’t work out well.

Please add to the outline.

Best,
Grady

Hi Grady,
Thanks for adding that link to this thread.

As I said in he last post on it, "I will gladly help in what ever way I can".

What can I do to help here so as to not duplicate anyones efforts?.

It is great to see this new info that Grady & Wayne have been stashing away different representative example transmissions for documentating the specifics.

Also great that Grady is actively working on the 901 and I am sure many other facets of the book(s).

This is awesome new information to me guys!!!

Anything I can do, just let me know.
Bob
