Cylinder base gasket sealer?
Waynes book says locktite 574, I read here curil-t. Consensus opinion?

If there is an issue with tolerances, we use ThreeBond 1211.

Don't use the 574 or any other hardening sealant. It will harden before you've torqued all the heads and then you will have a hard layer of variable thickness on each cylinder. Curil-T is fine as is any non-hardening sealant such as non-hardening permatex. They can also be installed dry like the factory did.

I used this as per John Walkers recommendation, K&W Copper Coat. No leaks three years later
