What was I thinking..............

All my parts in, and I'm ready to start the assembly of my 2.7 Short Stroke. Main bearings back from Calico Coatings and ready to install. WHAT THE F--K.
Why is the bearing tang on the wrong side?........................OH S--T..........I forgot, the late 7R case has the main bearing tang on the right side of the bearing bore. Yes I thought I knew it all. Things like this can happen when your mixing early cranks and stuff into later stuff. A lesson well learned.

Yes Angela, it is. So far everything is going great, except for the WRONG main bearings. Cars all done, transmission is ready, just waiting for myself to get-with-it on the engine. All parts are in and ready, except for my little main bearing mistake..............

Well quite spending time posing all the parts for pictures and get to work!!

Please update the thread as you go, I have all the parts to build one, and have been thinking about it.
