				Questions about 1980 SC engine

Another question inadvertently posted by "Transformer." I am in the process of rebuilding a 1980 911SC engine. Has anyone used Delta cam for repairing a cam lobe and rocker arms? Also how do you pressure test an oil cooler ? and its it OK to use the #8 bearing over , this engine has 50k miles and the rest of the bearings look good

Haven't heard of Delta cam. You pressure test the oil cooler with compressed air. Most people make a fitting up out of a block of aluminum to seal the holes and fit a shrader valve (tire valve). You pump up the cooler to 100-150 psi and submerge in water looking for bubbles. Number 8 bearings are usually reused. You need to evaluate for excessive wear or damage. -Andy
